Argh
She is turning into one of those lovely Jessop Gammon babies (patent pending) - wrists encircled, ankles retreating, thighs multiplying. This ballast has help her sit but more importantly she can move. In that mystical early baby way. You never see her actually move but imperceptibly you blink and she has moved a few inches. How this has happened is unclear but it is happening and so the wait begins. Will she bum shuffle (huzzah) or crawl (boo-sucks)?
And she is getting a bit more talkative. Cooing and gurning and biting and expressing some wilful ideas. Which is timely as she has to deal with the attentions of nancy and esther who, at times, think she might be some sort of toy rather than a sentient ham. Which can be challenging and we're working on understanding the difference between a baby and a ham. It's tough.
She did forget how to sleep for a while which was like baby rendition but she seems to be doing a little better. If it recedes, these blogs could well be eviscerated as my brain will be leaking out of my nostrils but let us be positive on all of this. She will sleep. She will.
Enjoy.
