Toots McTootersson
Below are some of the finest Tootographs ever captured. Asleep on pillow in a bike seat. Playing with soil (her new favourite past time). And wearing Balaclavas. In all these things she is wholly and unendingly lovely.
Alas beyond celluloid, her termperament is a little less delightful. She glides into our bed unseen in the night - freed into a cot bed a couple of months ago - and then when she determines to get up, rather then sliding out unseen to her sisters, instead she flails and kicks like a lunatic until she is dealt with or else her mother bundles her up into a hug. It is most unpleasant and she's not for turning sadly. In fact the kicking is a growing threat - her weapon of choice when faced with an outcome that she has determined is subprime. ANd often its allied to shrieks. Frankly it's all a bit rubbish but we're hoping it will pass as in many other things she is a delight. Just not the waking up. Urgh.
Like Nancy many moons ago, she is often found in her own world, happily self entertaining while life carries on around her. Playing with soil, dinner parties, being a shop girl or a doctor she happily rotates round them all. It's glorious but alas it doesn't inspire her sisters to independent play which is a right bugger (which remains one of her favourite words despite moderate efforts to disabuse her of it).
It's a bumper month so fill your boots.
